Matthews Calls on Department of Education to Fast-track Greystones School Extensions

I continued to press the urgent need to fast track and prioritise the extensions for Temple Carrig School and Coláiste Chraobh Abhann along with the new school building for Greystones Community College in the Dáil this week. These building projects in each of these schools are the key to ensuring a long term solution to the shortage of secondary school places in Greystones. Every year we have this scramble for places causing stress and worry for families. The solutions are there in these three building projects. However, the Department of Education needs to recognise this urgency and fast track them and expedite and remove red tape wherever possible.
