"We Need to Think to the Future" - The Renewable Energy Transition

This Government is committed to helping people through the energy crisis. However, short-term solutions to the current crisis will not be enough. We must accept that high fossil fuel costs are likely to be the norm for the foreseeable future. With this in mind, we need to look to the future. Investing in our unique wind, solar and hydrogen capabilities is vital to ensure our energy independence into the future, and safeguard us from the recurrence of the current crisis due to an overdependence on fossil fuels.
