Green Party Secures Huge Investment in Childcare

The affordability of childcare is a priority of the Green Party in Government. I am proud to support my party colleague Minister Roderic O’ Gorman in delivering what is the largest investment in childcare in the history of the state. The 25% reduction in childcare costs will put money back in the pockets of parents and this is only the beginning of our efforts. We are committed to reducing childcare costs by 50% during this government term, a target which is now well within our sights.
